My local aquarium store advised me to leave the fry in the aquariums I placed the egg strewn water hyacinth and where the fry hatched. They said to feed them baby brine shrimp which come frozen and "First Bites" dry fish food by Hikari Tropical.

I am thinking about raising brine shrimp so I can have a supply of live food. There is a lot of information about raising brine shrimp on the web.

There is an interesting website brineshrimpdirect.com that explains the ideal conditions for raising brine shrimp such as a starting ph of 8 which is an ideal use of the Kangen water ionizer.
